YEAR 3 and 4 pupils at Mary Tavy and Brentor Primary School went back in time and learned all about life in Roman times when they took part in a storytelling workshop with storyteller Steve Manning.
The children made shields in an art class and Steve was in character as a Roman Centurian for the session.
Steve has already hosted a storytelling workshop based on the Great Fire of London for the infants and will be visiting again in the summer to do an Aztec workshop. The workshops are funded by the PTA.
