OKEHAMPTON Community Archive will hold a spring Living History exhibition to show how the past gives hope to the future.

Visitors will be invited to share their memories of walks by the Okement river and photographs they took.

Anyone who has old photographs, film or memorabilia from the last 110 years, is invited to bring it along to help complete the history.

Scanning and copying facilities will be available at a reasonable cost.

Member of Okehampton Community Archive group and active member of the Okehampton Rivers Group, Steve Bolt, will be presenting the talk, along with retired teacher and secretary of the archive, Gillian Lower.

Anyone who would like to support the archive while shopping can donate their green token in this month's Waitrose Community Matters scheme.

The exhibition will be held on Saturday, April 3 from 10am to 3pm at the Okement Centre Hall.
