Dartmoor Tourist Association has launched a hotline booking system to expand its services and boost the area's recovery following foot and mouth disease.
Callers can request a glossy new brochure detailing Dartmoor's many and varied attractions and giving advice on accommodation. The hotline can also advise callers on the availability of accommodation at the many DTA registered hotels, guest-houses, self-catering establishments, pubs and camp-sites in the Dartmoor area.
The association's acting chairman Adam Southwell said: 'We want to make sure Dartmoor enjoys an outstanding 2002 to make up for all last year's heartache and believe the new hotline will make a vital contribution.'
The DTA hotline number is 01271 336134, further information
