THE Moorland Links Hotel at Yelverton, has been sold.

The 45-bedroom hotel with its lawned gardens and conference room was owned by Forestdale Hotels Limited.

The entire share capital in the owning company was sold by Colliers International Hotels to Akkeron Hotels, one of 18 hotels in a group sale, for an undisclosed multi-million pound sum.

Local office manager Stephen Page confirmed the Moorland Links was one of the hotels sold in the group, which employs around 900 people and has an annual turnover of circa £30-million.
