THE Arundell Arms Hotel was one of more than two dozen Devon based businesses to take part in the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire last weekend.

The fair is one of the biggest events of its kind in the world, with more than 140,000 people enjoying a celebration of country sports and living. Every aspect of Devon's rural tapestry was represented, from food, furniture, fishing, tourism, shooting and clothing.

The Arundell Arms, which runs a leading fishing school, took a stand in the 'World of Fishing' area. They also hosted a lunchtime reception for CLA members from the South West.

CLA South West director, John Mortimer, said, 'The game fair is a very special event which always draws strong support from our region - it's a great market place for rural businesses and to find so many from Devon taking part is massively encouraging.'
