RHS Garden Rosemoor's two dedicated rose gardens reach a crescendo of colour and scent when they form a heady backdrop to a 'Scents of Summer' weekend on June 19 and 20, celebrating all that is delightful about the garden in summer.

There will be walks, talks, advice, children's trails and a range of summer stalls, including rose petal confetti, hand-made sugar flowers and unusual jams and jellies.

The weekend will also feature the ever-popular Rose Sunday, which celebrates one of the nation's favourite flowers at its peak. With more than 2,000 roses from 200 cultivars, Rosemoor has one of the largest collections of roses in the West Country.

Guided garden walks will be available on the Sunday at 11.30am and noon and at 2pm and 2.30pm with the garden's Phil Scott and Dave Squire.
