LAST weekend's Moor than 10K race was successfully hosted and run by Okehampton Running Club members.
Runners started in leafy Simmons Park then climbed up to the moorland ring road via Klondyke, taking in a lap of Row Tor before running back to the park.
The first runner home was James Baker of Chichester runners in 40 minutes 32 seconds followed by ORCs Thomas Gill and George Speak in 41.37 and 45.45 respectively.
First female runner home was ORC's Kirstin Phippard in 53.49. The club scooped many of the prizes including male veteran 40 plus Dave Mugliston in 50.36; male vet 50 Mervin Rice in 51.49; female vet 45 Danielle Fulford-Brown 1hr 09.54 and female vet 55 Marilyn Cooper 1.05.07.
