A COMMUNITY forum in Okehampton will be discussing hospital services in the area at its next meeting.

The Devon Heartlands Community Forum will host two senior representatives from the Northern Devon Healthcare Trust at the next meeting on Wednesday November 2.

Steve Hudson, divisional general manager of community hospitals in the Eastern section and Ann Cameron, head of community acute services, will be on hand to discuss and answer questions about hospital services in the area, including Okehampton Community Hospital.

The forum is independent, open to everyone and free. The meeting takes place from 2pm to 4pm at the Ockment Centre. The forum holds its meetings on the first Wednesday of each month at the centre.
