THE Tavistock Friends of Children's Hospice South West recently held a very successful nearly new clothes sale in aid of The Precious Lives Appeal (pictured left).

The event, which was held by kind permission of the Bedford Hotel, raised £1,000. The group is very grateful to all who donated clothes, shoes, handbags etc.

The group is holding a fashion show at Lewtrenchard Manor Hotel on Thursday, October 14 at noon. Tickets are £20, and can be obtained from Julia on 01822 870463, Lewtrenchard Manor Hotel or Beau at Leg O'Mutton,Yelverton.
