A WEST Devon holiday park was recognised as the Best in Devon, Somerset and Dorset at an annual Hoseasons gala awards dinner recently.

Owners of Woodovis Park in Gulworthy, John and Dorothy Lewis, were given the award in the Relax and Explore category at the sixth annual dinner, which showcased the achievements of Hoseasons' 470 lodges and holiday parks throughout the UK.

John said: 'We are absolutely delighted to have won the Relax ad Explore award. This award recognises the effort and hard work put in by every member of the team, all of whom are responsible for ensuring our customers have a great holiday experience. This award proves the hard work has paid off and we aim to continue to deliver great UK holidays in 2012.'
