MOLE Avon Okehampton has announced it is to host a series of charity fashion shows in May.

The fundraising events will take place at the Okehampton branch from May 1 to May 3, from 7.30pm each night to raise money for Hospiscare.

The events are a continuation of the Mole Avon Ruby Appeal launched last year. It is hoped the events will help the company reach its target of £40,000 for the charity.

Mole Avon's last fashion show was held in 2011 over two nights, and raised £7,000 which was split between charities CLIC Sargent and the BBC Radio Devon Air Ambulance Appeal.

The hope is that this event will be as successful again.

The shows will feature the customers, friends and family of Mole Avon parading its new season's clothing, all of which will be available to buy at our local branches. There will be a raffle draw on the last night, which will include prizes such as a 32inch Toshiba Smart LED TV. Raffle tickets cost £1 each.

Entry tickets for each night are £10 and include a free glass of sparkling wine and nibbles plus a discount voucher to spend in store. There will be interval entertainment each evening, a licensed bar and waiter service. Tickets are limited.

Entry tickets and draw tickets are available from all Mole Avon branches, as well as Gillian's Hair Stylist on Crediton Road, and the Hospiscare shop in the Arcade.
