Active Alarms George Gillan trophy Chaddlewood A 5

Tavistock Hire Centre 4

TAVISTOCK HIRE went 1-0 down in this second round game after a mix up between centre back John Francis and goalkeeper Craig Mulholland let in Chaddlewood's striker to tap into an empty net.

Tavistock hit back when Phil Credicot played a through ball to Dan Behennah to slide home from 12 yards.

Chaddlewood took the lead after a penalty was given against Dale Mullin. Behennah then got his second when a quick corner was taken from Sam Saunders and Tavistock's striker flicked home.

Just before half-time Chaddlewood took the lead after Hire defender Rob Moloney hesitated on a long ball through and the Chaddlewood number nine hit home from 12yards.

In baking hot conditions Tavistock Hire started slowly in the second half and gave away two quick goals to go 5-2 down.

With 15 minutes remaining manager Shaun Moloney brought himself and Arron Burton on and this seemed to change the game when Burton controlled the ball on the edge of the area and stroked the ball into the corner of the net.

With five minutes to go Behanna got his hat-trick when he was brought down in the area and he stepped up to slam home the penalty home. Tavistock Hire threw everything they could at Chaddlewood to grab an equaliser but time ran out.
