GET motivated for an informative business breakfast in Okehampton taking place at the Conservative Club next month. The speaker at the July breakfast organised by local firm Motivation South West will be Chris Bourne, from South West Highways Training. Chris is responsible for the training and development at SWH and is based at their training centre in Rockbere. Founded in 1995, SWH is owned jointly by Colas and Ringway, both major highway and construction engineering groups. Set up originally to maintain the Devon County Council highway network, SWH has diversified and expanded to become one of the region?s most important assets in terms of engineering expertise. SWH currently operates from 12 locations in seven towns across the region, and directly employs more than 500 staff. As well as heading up SWH Training, Chris is also an ordained church minister operating within Okehampton. Mike Davies, of Motivation South West, said he believed the talk would be of benefit to most business, of whatever size or industry.
