A WEST Devon based transport loan scheme can now offer more transport options thanks to a recent cash boost.
Following a successful funding bid to the local Sustainable Transport Fund, Devon Wheels 2 Work has been able to invest in some state of the art electric powered cycles to add to its current fleet of petrol powered machines.
The new bikes are high quality machines and have impressive features which put them at the forefront of technology and electric bike design. The machines are available to buy or hire on either a daily or longer term basis for anyone who is looking for a new experience, wants to cut down on their transport costs or just wants to improve their health.
Chief executive Max Jowett said: 'We are always looking at ways to develop our service to local communities and we believe that these new machines will help us to support Devon County Council's local cycling initiative.
'These bikes make cycling much easier and you just seem to glide along effortlessly, call to book a trial — you will be amazed!'
These bikes can be ridden without a driving license and are legal to use on the county's off road cycle network, details of which can be obtained through the Wheels 2 Work office. Contact 01409 220357 to book a test ride.
