JUST a note following on from the recent article regarding ?Patients call for GPs to be permanent? (August 9). As one of the previous GPs at the PCT run practice since January 2004 I returned to work here on May 14. All patients on the practice list have now been written to concerning future plans for how the practice will run and I have agreed with Devon PCT that I will stay on at the practice until the end of December whilst the transition occurs. I would like to reassure patients that the surgery staff and myself will continue to offer a friendly, efficient and high standard of care at the practice during this time.
