BOTH sides entertained the crowd with Ivybridge running in the first two tries.
Okehampton were was awarded a penalty which Andrew Herrod-Taylor converted to give them their first points from opening play.
After the penalty Okehampton put Ivybridge under pressure which caused them to touch down for a five-yard scrum from which Simon Cox scored the first try for Okehampton, converted by Herrod-Taylor.
To bring the score back to 10-10 Ivybridge dominated play with quick ball handling to the wings. Okehampton upped play only to find the opposition had done the same and Ivybridge's forwards scored another try.
Captain Simon Cox raised his pack to score the second two tries for Okehampton, one from Cox and the next from Gary Sizmur.
Ivybridge started the second half running in a try from the wings.
Good lineout jumping from Sam Turner and Matt West gave set ball to drive Chris Searle over for a disallowed try. From the five-yard scrum a penalty was given and Searle tapped and popped to Richard Bolt to score.
Pressure from Okehampton caused Ivybridge to give away another penalty which Bolt took and Herrod-Taylor converted.
There was end to end play in the last five minutes with the score at 32-32. Ivybridge kicked over the back with a lucky bounce and caught the ball to score under the post.

Barnstaple U13s 7
BARNSTAPLE were good enough to come to Okehampton for this late arranged fixture.
Okehampton started well with good forward drives, spinning the ball wide and this led to a scrum 10 metres from the Barnstaple try-line, Rob Long at No 8 picked up and drove over to score — taking three Barnstaple players with him.
Barnstaple came back to level the score.
Scott Simpson, Stuart Rennie, Luke Crocker and Seth Bullingham set a good platform for Rob Long to drive into the Barnstaple defence. Richard Friend, at open side flanker, was first to the breakdown, picking up and keeping the ball moving in the backs for David Binns to score the best try of the game.
Will Heard at scrum half distributed the ball well to Tom Browne and Tom McGratton, Rory Honeychurch caused Barnstaple problems and new boy Joshua Moon looked sharp on the wing.
Rob Long scored the two second half tries. Browne kicked three conversions and kicked well for position.
Jake Chisholm is to continue as this year's captain and Will Heard as vice-captain.
