A WEBSITE has been created to provide contact points for every kind of help West Devon people might need in the ongoing foot and mouth crisis.
The site has been set up by the Devon Crisis Committee, an organisation formed by Philip Davies, owner the Two Bridges Hotel, and its costs have been met by Sir Ray Tindle owner of the Times series of newspapers.
Mr Davies said: 'We are trying to disseminate information, advice and help to people who urgently need it.'
The site will feature contact numbers and Internet links to all sorts of information, from the Samaritans to Government agencies and MPs' addresses.
It will also carry a comprehensive list of tourist attractions that are open throughout Devon.
Mr Davies said they had included everything they could think of, but were certain there were many more sources of help, which they may have overlooked.
Anybody with any helpful information can contact the Devon Crisis Committee through the website, as can anyone wishing to let people know their tourist attraction is open.
