AGE Concern Torbay, together with other local voluntary organisations, will be providing help and advice during the digital switchother in Okehampton and surrounding areas.

Help will be available for anyone who requires information and advice on re-tuning, different ways to get digital TV and the Switchover Help Scheme.

Trained advisers will be available to answer questions and also re-tune digital boxes if there is a problem.

Chief officer for Age Concern Okehampton and Torridge, Barrie Duke, said: 'We want to help smooth the changeover for those who might be confused by the process.

'There will be free refreshments on the day for anyone who comes in to see us.'

Help will be available on Wednesday, September 9 from 12 noon to 4pm at the Age Concern drop in centre on Crediton Road.
