MOUNT House School entered four teams of four – two teams each for boys and girls - in the annual St Michael's Tawstock cross-country relay races. The conditions were trying after a period of heavy rain, and 'Heartbreak Hill' lived up to its reputation with several runners losing their shoes in the thick, sticky mud. The girls' race was run first, and there was some excellent team running by the Mount House girls, especially Tabitha Unsworth-White and Izzy Kidner. The A team finished ninth and the B team 11th out of a field of 19 teams. Medals were awarded to the boys A team – Ralph Lawson, Edward Barlow, Ben Harding and Elliot Woodhead for their excellent third place.
