NURSES will be on hand to offer passers-by a blood pressure check in Tavistock?s Bedford Square on Saturday, April 5, part of the national Rotary Club?s Stroke Awareness Day.
Russell Woolcock, of Tavistock Rotary Club, said the club has organised a caravan in the square so people could have their blood pressure checked ? high blood pressure is a major contributory factor to strokes.
The caravan will be open from 10am to 2pm. Information leaflets will also be available.
