OKEHAMPTON Health Centre has changed the numbers for their recorded message answering service. From now on, callers to the centre will be given the choice of pressing: one for emergencies; two for appointments; three for doctors' secretaries; four for the dispensary; and five to leave a message. As before, callers can hold to speak to somebody. The clinic is asking callers to be patient and listen to all the options until they are familiar with the new system - especially those regular callers who are in the habit of selecting number one automatically once they are connected.
