THERE will be live music, fun and prizes galore for riders who head down to Tavi Trails on Sunday, for the Tavi Trails Summer Jam.

Hosted by Tavistock Youth Café, the summer jam, being held at the Tavi Trails on Plymouth Road, will give a chance for BMX and bike riders to take part in a number of competitions, including a High Jump competition hosted by The Fold.

There will be live music from 3s A Crowd and refreshments will be available.

Trackside support will be given from Lifer BMX and all riders should bring a helmet, although spare helmets will be available.

Supporters for the event include Monster Energy, Extreme, Dartmoor Cycles, Tavistock Lions Club as well as others.

The event, starting at 10am with the first competition being held at 11am, is open to all ages, and costs £1 for entry for all spectators and competitors.

l Tavistock Youth Café would like to inform people of a correction to the Lions' timetable for carnival week.

The youth café will be costume making from 1pm on Saturday in Tavistock Town Hall, not in the Meadows as stated in the itineraries.
