PATIENTS in Okehampton will get the chance to have their say on health services at the latest meeting of the Mid Devon Primary Care Trust Patients Forum later this month.
The meeting which will be held at the Okement Centre, Okehampton at 2pm on Tuesday, April 27, follows the forum?s first public meeting which took place in Tiverton last week.
Chairman of the Forum Neil Gilmour from Exbourne, said the inaugural meeting had gone well.
?It was a good meeting with a lively debate concerning local health issues.
?Members of the Primary Care Trust were on hand to answer questions,? he said.
Some of the health services issues that Mr Gilmour said would be considered by members for future action planning were: rural transport to appointments, a mammogram service at Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, itemised billing by dentists and home care services.
