FOLLOWING two consultation events earlier this summer, residents in the Yelverton area are again being given the chance to have their say on how land in the village should be developed.

The site at Briar Tor is being promoted by Trand UK Ltd. A draft development brief for the land has been drawn up, to reflect the issues that were raised during the last round of consultation in June.

This brief is now open for comment — the land is being developed for open market housing and affordable housing.

The consultation day and community exhibition will take place in the common room at Briar Tor on Wednesday, August 7 between 2pm and 8pm.

There will also be an opportunity to register an interest in occupying one of the new affordable homes proposed for the site.
