A TAVISTOCK man lost a walking stick in the town recently, and is appealing to anyone who may have found it to return it.
The man, who is recovering from cellulitis which required him to walk with a stick, was in the town on Tuesday, September 17 and mislaid his stick in the area. All enquiries to the places he visited that day proved unsuccessful.
The stick is a polished 25cm diameter piece of branch. The top is fashioned in the shape of a snake's head with appropriate eyes and mouth markings. The body is adourned with burnt carvings — his initials, DP, his astrological birth sign, Sagittarius, the letters RM and various minutia.
Anyone who may have found the stick, should contact the Times.
l A set of keys was found outside the Original Pasty House in Tavistock on Tuesday, September 17.
There are three keys of different sizes on an 'Animal' metal key ring.
Anyone who wishes to claim the keys can do so at the Times office.
