A DISABLED Okehampton resident would like to hear from anyone in the town who has an old, broken or unwanted PC, which would help him pursue his career ambitions.

Matthew Hanlan has already completed a New Clait computing course and is halfway through his ECDL Europe computer driving course at the Ockment Centre, in which he has been supported by West DEN?s Ley of the Land project.

Matthew, 24, a former Okehampton College student, said: ?I?m trying to look towards the future and one of the only careers which would be open to me is through computers. I?ve been getting quite good at fixing and repairing PCs and I?m using this experience to try and retrain myself.?

Matthew would like to hear from anyone who has a PC they no longer want. ?It could be working, broken ? it doesn?t matter,? he said.
