RESIDENTS of Gulworthy will be celebrating the harvest with a parish thanksgiving at the Copper Penny Inn at Chipshop on Monday (September 23).

The event, starting at 7pm, will include food, an auction of produce and some harvest hymns.

The following Sunday (September 29), all the family can enjoy 'Pizza Praise' at 4pm — using the fruits of the harvest to make gourmet wood fired pizzas at Bowrish sawmills. A donation of dried and tinned food, for the Tavistock Foodbank, would be much welcomed.
