TAMAR Grow Local and the National Trust are holding a 'Tamar Harvest' at Cotehele Quay on Sunday, September 7 between noon and 5pm.

The new event will be a celebration of local produce in and around the Tamar Valley and will combine sales of local produce, refreshments, talks and information about the market gardening history of the valley.

There will be some historic film footage, exhibitions and information on new education projects.

Organisers are interested in contacting local families who have local fruit, vegetable or flower varieties named after them, who can contact them either on or before the day.
