THE annual Lewdown flower and produce show was held recently.
The poor weather affected the vegetable and floral entries, but cookery and crafts were on a par with previous years — one craft showed what young people can achieve, a hand-crafted mini pool table.
Quilting and patchwork were, as always, of good standard, and the dahlias were great, despite the weather.
The show was opened by president Brian Wonnacott, who thanked all who entered and the many who help out in the background.
The winners were presented with trophies by Brian Wonnacott and Victory Hall chairman Roy Stacey.
