THE West Devon Association of the National Trust (NTWDA) has arranged a talk by Paul Rendell, a local speaker and historian next week.

His talk, which is entitled 'Hairy Hounds, Devil and Black Dogs', takes place at 2pm on Thursday, January 23 in Bridestowe Village Hall.

Paul, who is an authority on matters associated with local history in general and with Dartmoor in particular, also leads walks in the National Park.

All those who are interested to attend this talk are most welcome. Admission to the event is £3.
