MAY I take this opportunity of thanking everyone who supported our fundraising lunch for The Emily Jordan Foundation, a registered charity that supports the training for employment of learning disabled young people.

An excellent sum of £850 was raised.

Although I had hoped to entertain guests to a summer garden lunch party, the hail and gusty winds prevailed!

Everyone gallantly squeezed into the house and my thanks are not only extended to those who attended, but also to my three very energetic helpers.
