A TOTAL of £363 was raised by the Tavistock and district branch of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association following a collection on October 11 and 12 outside Focus DIY store in Plymouth Road as part of National Guide Dog Week.
Organiser Jean Green from the Tavistock branch said: 'We are grateful to Focus for their support and would like to thank all those who gave so generously. The money raised will be used in the work of guide dogs, helping to transform the lives of blind and partially sighted people.'
