MEMBERS of Tavistock Peace Action Group campaigned in Bedford Square last Saturday in opposition to holding detainees in Guantanamo Bay. The group claimed the US was illegally holding 500 detainees, nine of whom were British and who had been denied the right to due legal process over three years. The Tavistock action group meets on the third Tuesday of every month at the Friends Meeting House, Bedford car park, Tavistock.
