OKEHAMPTON Golf Club players on Saturday contested a medal for the Bill Webber bowl for the best handicap score and the Brian Adams Salver for the best scratch score.
The winner of division one, and the Bill Webber bowl, was the club captain Peter Murphy with a net 60.
Second was Barry Coaker with a net 63 and third, and winner of the Brian Adams Salver was Gareth Holt with a gross 67, net 64.
Fourth was Kevin Pedrick with a net 65 on the back nine from Chris Pike also with a net 65.
Division two was won by Ron Uren with a net 63 from in second Rob Camies who finished with a net 64.
Third place was taken by Ollie Kirby with a net 65 on the back nine from Dan Potter in fourth and Lee Pengelly in fifth.
Division three was won by Nick Waldron with a net 65 from in second George James with a net 67 on the back nine from Ron Copeland who also had a 67.
Fourth was John Donovan with a net 69.
The East Devon Junior League team reached the Finals Day with a fine victory over Tiverton away 3.5 to 2.5, with Robin Grey, Oliver Kirby and Adam Clarke all winning and Will Searle halving his match, to remain unbeaten in the all season.
The team go forward to play either Crediton or Fingle Glen at Tiverton on September 6, all supporters are welcome.
