ON behalf of Jack, my son and our family, may I please thank all of the very kind readers who donated to Jack's rescue from Afghanistan (Times front page, April 21).
We still have a bit to do, but all of the donations are extremely welcome, as were the messages of support left on Jack's website, I know my son was really touched by your good wishes.
We hope that Jack will be flown to the UK soon to begin his quarantine, we will certainly keep the Times up to date with his progress.
