OÑ Saturday at Okehampton Golf Club in lovely conditions a large field contested a medal competition for The Stanley Bridges Salver.

The winner of division one was Graham Moysey with gross 75 net 63 after countback from Christopher Pike also with 63; third was Martin O'Connor with 64.

The winner of division two was Alan Mann with nett 64, in second with 67 Paul Ayris and in third was Steve Browne with 68.

Winner of division three with gross 84 nett 63 was Keiran Mitchell, in second came John Haley with 65 and third was Lewis Parry with 67.

The winner of The Stanley Bridges Salver for lowest gross score was Derek Owen with an impressive 69.

Unfortunately the ladies' competition (The Jarman Bowl) had to be postponed due to the course being waterlogged.

However some Okehampton ladies were in action last week as the finals of the Warren Crocus were held on Friday. Pam Jarman, Penny Deakin, Maureen Willcocks and Tricia Nilsson were the players involved having come first and second in the qualifier held earlier in the year.

Pam and Penny were the silver representatives and only missed the prizes by one point scoring 38 points.

Maureen and Tricia scored 32pts and were in the top 10.
