THE date has changed for the London Community Gospel Choir's return to Okehampton to prevent a clash with South Zeal Carnival.
The choir, which went down a storm at the First Aid Music Day on Bank Holiday Monday, will be appearing at the Octagon Theatre, Okehampton College, on Friday, October 26, instead of the original date, October 27.
This is the second scheduled music event in what is expected to be a 12-month calendar of creative events in Okehampton.
The two-hour concert organised by First Aid (Music for Rural Communities in Crisis) in association with Okehampton Arts and Music Festival, starts at 7.15pm with Soul Attitude, Okehampton College's own gospel choir.
