WITH a strong wind in their backs Bere found it difficult to control the ball and the teams went in at half-time level at 0-0.
Bere came out for the second half and took control with three goals in the first six minutes, two from Jake McGowan and one from John McGowan. With goalkeeper Wayne Smalley keeping Gorran at bay Jake completed his hat-trick and the Bere defence kept another clean sheet.

WITH a whole team of teenagers and a good display of pass and move football Bere's young side dominated to progress into the next round.
Goals from Bromhead (3), Notman (3), Richards (2), Cockburn and Jeavons saw a safe passage into the next round game away to Tregadillett.
This Saturday Bere are at home to Tintagel at 2.30pm.
