AT Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday members enjoyed competing in the New Year's Day four ball better ball Stableford competition on a full course in pleasant weather conditions.

The winning team were father and son Phil and Nick Hobbs with 44 points.

In second place were Neil Penfold and John Flavin with 42 points on the back three from Kev Pedrick and Richard Johnson in third place. In fourth place were Bob Davies and Nick Heath also with 42 points.

In fifth place were Kev Cornwall and Malcolm Hill with 41 points.
