MEADOWLANDS Leisure Pool has been awarded an assessment mark of 'good' following a two-day quality evaluation carried out in February.
The QUEST quality assessment is the industry kite mark for measuring quality within sports and leisure centres. The assessment covers all aspects of operating sports and leisure facilities. Day one of the assessment covered business planning, continuous improvement, customer experience, team and operations; while day two covered swimming lessons, FIA code of practice, financial management, health and safety and sales.
Jon Smith, contract manager at Meadowlands Leisure Pool, said: 'The result is a testimony to the great team at Meadowlands and reflects the great work of everyone here. The QUEST process is all about continuous improvement and the team is striving to provide an improved service for local people.'
