BUSINESSES in Hatherleigh were struggling before foot and mouth because there?s nothing to attract people here.
Fishleigh Estate?s plans for a butchery shop and cafe would bring people to Hatherleigh, with farm walks to see the wildlife which they have awards for. It must be good for Hatherleigh.
I think the business people in Hatherleigh should congratulate Fishleigh Estate for what they are trying to do. As for the remarks about cars parked in the streets, they slow cars and lorries down when they come through. If we get yellow lines in Hatherleigh more businesses will close down and it will be like a ghost town. Good luck to Fishleigh Estate.
