A TOURNAMENT at Tavistock Golf Club earlier this month raised £2,000 for the St John Hospital in Jerusalem. The record amount was raised by 100 golfing supporters of St John Ambulance and prizes were presented by St John Ambulance Devon county commander David Hayward. Geoffrey Bush, chairman of St John in Devon, said the hospital in Jerusalem needed as much money as they could raise to continue to provide vital services to people who needed them, regardless of race or religion.
