FRIENDS and family celebrated the golden wedding of Brian and Mary Barkwell when they attended a charity ball in aid of MS sufferers.
A grand total of £2,000 was raised at the ball which was held at the Jubilee Hall in Chagford, where the couple first married 50 years ago on November 15 1958.
Mary and Brian expressed thanks to the 75 family and friends who attended the evening to celebrate their special day and support the MS cause.
