Go on, have a swing!

FOR those who fancy having a go at golf Tavistock Golf Club is holding free coaching taster sessions for beginners every Saturday and Sunday from March 3. The sessions are open to both adults and juniors and to book a lesson telephone the club on 01822 612316. The scheme is an English Golf Union/English Ladies' Golf Association initiative. Beginners of any age, gender or background who want to experience golf for the first time can simply register and receive a free golf coaching taster session with a PGA professional. Golf balls and clubs are provided free and participants all receive information on a variety of initiatives aimed at continuing involvement in golf.
