THE traditional delivery of the first wood of the 2011 outdoor season will be bowled by club president Chris Pearn at Yelverton Bowling Club's opening day on Saturday, April 16. New members days will be held on Sunday, April 17 and Saturday, April 30 at 2pm, when coaching will be available to anyone who would like to try bowling.
Club captain this year is Jeanne Holloway and Ron Collier continues to be men's team captain; the ladies' team is led by a new captain Jo McHale.
