IT'S time to lace up your trainers and get running for the 11th Peter Tavy Plod and fun run later this month. The annual race will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 25 at 3pm. The plod covers a scenic and undulating course of five miles over moorland tracks and woodland trails. Registration for the race, £6, starts from 2pm with the race starting at 3pm. The fun run of one mile will cost £2 to enter. There will be trophies and a momento to all finishers.
