DO you fancy a half hour trip in a light aircraft, a Sunday lunch for four, 50 square yards of meadow turf or perhaps a trip to the Lost Gardens of Heligan? These and many other tempting items are on offer at a grand auction of promises taking place in Broadwoodkelly this weekend.
Two local communities will join forces this Saturday to raise funds as promises go under the auctioneer?s hammer.
Profits will be split equally between Winkleigh Primary School - desperate for funds to develop the grounds around the school for the benefit of the children, and Broadwoodkelly - keen to continue the refurbishment of their 127-year old hall which was once the village school.
The auction takes place at Broadwoodkelly Village Hall.
