IN lovely fresh summer conditions the playoff for the 2010 Okehampton Golf Club Championship took place between Gareth Holt and Del Owen who tied for the championship the previous week.
After battling it out over 18 holes the winner and 2010 club champion was Gareth Holt with a superb gross 69. Runner up Del Owen scored a gross 79.
In the individual medal for the President's trophies the winner of division one and the President's Scratch Trophy with a gross 68, nett 62 was Jonny Rattenbury, second with a nett 63 was Malcolm Hill and in third place was Colin Cornwall with a nett 65.
The winner of division two was Alan Lawson with a nett 63 from Ted Boswell in second place, in third place was Adrian Tilley with a nett 64.
Winner of division three and winner of the President's Handicap Trophy was Keith Lee with a nett 60, in second place was Bob Collett with a nett 66 and in third place was Fred Scott-Lawson with a net 67.
