A WEST Devon couple raised almost £500 for charity recently, when they opened their Mary Tavy garden as part of the National Gardens Scheme in mid-May.
This Sunday, June 13, Michael Cook and Ali Fife are opening their garden again, the last time the garden will be open as part of the NGS this year, although it will also be open as part of the Mary Tavy Garden Trail on June 26.
The Stannary is an informal two-acre garden with lovely views of the moor.
For the NGS opening there will be home-made teas as well as plant sales.
The charities supported by the National Gardens Scheme include Macmillan Nurses and a range of other caring and gardening charities. Further information is on the NGS website at http://www.ngs.org.uk">www.ngs.org.uk or http://www.alifife.co.uk/garden">www.alifife.co.uk/garden
