AFTER a year's break, Alder Gardens at Lewdown will be opening again on June 9 to raise money for Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).
The garden, with a four acre lake and 70 acres of woodland are part of a 160 acre farm run by Bob and Anne Westlake. Among the highlights of the beautiful grounds include the herbaceous garden, and a vineyard which is due to crop for the first time this year.
Vineyard tours, cream teas, a plant stall, raffle and a stall showcasing local photographs will be available.
The garden is open from 2pm to 6pm. Entry costs £2.50 for adults and is free for children, with all proceeds going to ELF. For those using sat-nav, the postcode is EX20 4PJ. For more information call 01566 783909.
